This is one very interesting person that has opened up my eyes up to some very wierd yet wonderful theories about the world. His name is Mark Thomson and his Krypt Surf Mat is without a doubt some of the most high performance surf craft ever designed. Literally the smallest days in Japan, were turned into skateparks. The footage of him on his website, gut sliding at Broken Head and Lennox is insane stuff- the most critical bottom turns, tube rides and drift slides i have ever seen.
Obviously the surf mat is nothing new, but after spending a few days in Mark's company i am hell bent that these mats in particular are revolutionary in performane. Check it out, the froth will not be contained if you are anything like myself, Rasta, Dan Thomson...and the Japanese!
